Established in 1994 and located in Chap Fuk Road, Tseung Kwan O, our school is an aided secondary school which occupies an area of 240,000 square feet. Through the School Improvement Programme, a five-storey new wing was completed and officially opened in September 2003. Our school is well equipped, with air-conditioners being installed in all rooms of the school campus. Most classrooms and special rooms are furnished with projectors, computers and physical projectors. The whole school campus is covered with an instant digital broadcasting system and a schoolwide networking. The school currently has two basketball courts, two covered playgrounds, garden, two school halls, two large multi-purpose activity rooms, digital LED wall, one library, two computer rooms, and thirteen special rooms, including, Technology Learning Center, Stem Creative Classroom, Careers Corner, Biology laboratory, Chemistry laboratory, Physics laboratory, Arts Room and Music Room, Gym Room and We-Zone which is funded by Jockey Club Project Well-being.

In 2013, Ms. Ho Yuk Ching donated HK$10,500,000 to our school to improve the school’s teaching and learning. The donation has been used to improve the school's facilities, establish scholarships, subsidize students’ exchange and study programs, foster teachers' professional development and the like. Our school is grateful to Ms. Ho Yuk Ching for her recognition of the school's development and her agreement to name the school as " Po Leung Kuk Ho Yuk Ching (1984) College ". At the same time, we would also like to thank the school supervisor Ms. Leung Po Chu and the Board of Directors of Po Leung Kuk Yam Sen Year for their dedication to our school and their approval of the naming of the school. The expansion of the school’s resources has definitely benefited our students. The naming ceremony of Po Leung Kuk Ho Yuk Ching (1984) College was held on March 26, 2013. Mr. Yeung Yun Hung, the then Under Secretary for Education of the Education Bureau, was cordially invited to be the guest speaker of the ceremony.
